This is a replacement strand for one I purchased last year. I run this 292 foot strand around the railings only deck and porch. It stays up year round. Slowly the first strand had blackout areas. Eventually there were more black areas than lit. I also had to replace the battery operated mechanism about 3 months after the first strand was up. While these lights probably are not meant for year round outdoor lighting, they so far have done good for about a year. I live rurally and the late fall through early spring gets quite dark. These brighten the spot where I live!

I had one part that became corroded and customer service replaced the set under warranty with no returns involved. Customer service is great!!!

Wow! I never imagined to find a string of twinkle lights that would go around the entire deck. 262 feet in one strand. AND it comes with a remote with EIGHT MODES of twinkling. It also has a timer mode as well. I live in an extremely wet local so am hoping these lights have longevity. The price is so affordable. The Ollny company has customer service that is unparalleled. I was appraised every step of the way where the package was on its mailing journey. The product came well packed. I wish I would have known it came in black wire as well as white. While the black would have camouflaged better with the railing, the white is not discernable when the lights are on at night. I plan on ordering another strand for around the front. The light from the single strand provides ambience which is exactly what I wanted.

These lights are beautiful and the remote control is great. We had them outside and they worked in the rain, but they gave out at the end of the season and stopped working. I reached out to the company and their support is fast to respond and were quick to send a replacement. I'm not so sure about these working outside so fingers crossed that they do next year.

I bought these lights several months ago and had them strung along my outdoor gazebo. They were perfect until the wire literally came apart one day and they stopped working. Even though it had been 7 months since I bought these, Ollny responded to my email within 24 hrs and then sent me new lights right away-no cost. The only bad part is how long it took me to string the now broken ones all along my gazebo so I guess I'll have to do that again. But still worth it.

I bought these lights at end of April. I did not hang them outside until end of may. I checked the lights when they arrived and they were all working. I have the plug protected indoors since it is not waterproof. I took my time hanging them on my fence and handled them delicately since other reviewers recommended undoing each bundled section ( line is super long ) so it would not be tangled. The center of the line burnt out last night. Of course return window is closed. The beginning of line is lit and end of line. The only thing I can think of is that the lights burnt out and there is no way to replace bulbs.
Update. I reached the seller and they sent me a replacement within three days. Hope these will last. The lights are beautiful.

These are quality lights. They lasted outside all winter. When they failed, it was because it was missing the little rubber washer in between the controller and the power supply. I contacted the company to find replacement parts. They helped debug the issue and then sent me a whole new set because it was still within a year (their warranty). The new set arrived within a week. I would definitely order again.

I bought 3 sets of theses month ago and all 3 sets worked and look great. The timer function is super easy. The various color flashing is cool but we just stick with regular. The color is nice. Overall very happy with the product.

Lights work great around my house, very bright and very long. Had a bad wind storm one night which broke the wire but luckily it was a replaceable section and costumer service sent me a new piece immediately, very impressed. Only reason for 4 stars on remote control is that it is very short range, wish I could use it inside for ease but not that big of an issue for me.

Long lasting I have a set of theses on one of my trees for over 2 years now and still has full functionality. Lets face it if you are going to wrap a tree with lights leave them on for all sorts of special events until they stop working. And if your new to the outdoor light game, you gotta like how the packaging is easier to work with as sections which is important to all that are diy home lighting folks. I've ordered some 300 foot plus light sets that were just one big spool! Try wrapping a tree with that! Love the remote control settings and dimming options. One 300 foot order will cover most trees.

Initial impression is very good. I put these on the upstairs tree which is about 6ft tall. There were more than enough lights which allowed me to wrap them nice and full. I like the multi functions and the remote works well for me. I can't rate the outdoor usage since they are being used inside. Overall, I'm very happy and got a nice price on Cyber-Monday for these.

This single strand allowed me to decorate our entire front wraparound porch. We had strategically placed screw-in hooks in past years, so just looping this strand around them was super easy. I did the whole thing by myself in less than an hour.To answer some of the questions I��ve seen asked�� Yes, single strand, only one plug. No way to extend it (but at 330+ feet�� do you really need to?) or break up/space out the design in any way. Planning ahead solve this issue. I did not end up using the timer option on the light strand itself- we have an outdoor timer that I plugged the strand into and they go on and off as I want, in the ��steady�� mode (this appears to be the default, thank goodness). If I wanted them to sparkle or flash, that wouldn��t be an option with resetting it each time, as far as I can tell. I prefer steady so this works fine for me, but if you wanted the other modes (some of which are nearly seizure-inducing) I think you would have to use the built-in timer on the strand itself. The lights MAYBE cold be brighter, but as I prefer a soft glow, I was fine with them being a little dimmer. I think there might be a ��bright white�� option instead, too. I think I already lost the remote ?????��?Overall, I��m super happy with the purchase for this year. This single strand replaced EIGHT traditional strands- although they all worked last year when I packed them up, only one was still fully working this year when unpacked (and four strands were completely dead�� UGH). I don��t know what it will be like to try to pack away a single 330+ foot strand, nor have I had any of the tiny bulbs go out yet, so who knows what next year will bring. So far though, I have no complaints about this purchase and it has done exactly what I hoped it would do.

I started putting these up and was beginning to question my purchase wondering if it looked tacky. As the sun went down and I was able to do the entire Ceiling (with another unwrapped bundle hidden behind a curtain). I feel in love with it. Some settings are wild with blinking and the other half are Subtle. Husband liked them too said we could have dinner outside more and that is wasn��t too bright or dim for gatherings.

I wanted lights for my porch ceiling that made it feel magical without lighting it up like a secret agent interrogation site like you can get with those giant Edison bulbs. I wanted to cover a certain amount of square footage by going back and forth in a zig zag pattern and this set of lights worked perfectly! I LOVE the timer feature, which magically now comes on every night at the same time. Can you tell how much I love these lights? I did my best to add a photo, but it doesn't capture how happy these fairy lights make me feel!
FYI the plug/transformer is a little bulky, so I need to hang something next to the outlet to hide it. Otherwise, perfection!

Lights worked great as I have never seen an 800 light 330 ft string of lights before. I got a lot of compliments on them as I did my 4 post porch in its entirety. Only thing that is a pain is wrapping all the lights on the posts when the strand is 330ft long. Remote was almost useless because you had to be standing directly in. Front of the plug which also has controls on it. They were bright and had many functions

We ordered this for draping along our fence in the backyard. The remote is great because we can turn the lights on and off from inside through a deck door. I wish the lights were slightly brighter, but they provide a great ambiance and the variety of options and dimming is great. We did find out the hard way that the white control box is not waterproof after a heavy rain. We should have listened to the sticker saying so. We contacted customer support and they sent us a replacement set of lights. It looks like the new control box is more sealed and I would assume more waterproof. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the lights and customer support.

These lights made my tree look beautiful. The length and amount of lights is incredible. Due to reviews saying the hardware isn��t waterproof, we bought a waterproof electrical box for the plug and transmitter. So far they are working great!

Good lights, I bought the 300 feet string , but difficult to handle . Wish The light density is more than what it is. Connector/ control box is not waterproof. Remote didn��t work but we used the manual adjustment.

The length was perfect for the area I needed as you can see in my pictures. I believe I was over by about 8 feet when all was said and done but it was great. The remote is nice but you have to be right next to the box so having it is kind of pointless. Plus you have to push it multiple times for it to actually work. But whatever once you select your setting it stays like that for a while anyways. I was disappointed it wasn't a little brighter. Thank god we have other lights out there and we are not using them to be able to actually see anything because they are that dim! Don't get me wrong they are beautiful but they provide zero light to aging people who have a hard time seeing like my in-laws which of course are who we purchased these for. Luckily we were looking for a beautiful warm glow and nothing functional!!! We were successful LOL We have not tried the timer yet but we haven't had any issues yet so I can't imagine we will going forward. If anyone in your family has epilepsy stear clear of #5 and #7 They are a little intense. It could be dangerous.

These are the best!! Not only are the a true "warm" white - but one roll covered my real 12 foot Christmas tree! The roll just kept going and going!! The functions are great (although I just use steady) but its fabulous when you only have to use one roll. The are smaller so I use a lot but I just love them! I purchased two!

We strung lights across our backyard for a party. They didn't add a ton of light but definitely made the backyard look great. Easily supported their own weight when strung between two wires. Their internal wiring does seem I like if you pulled too hard you could snap it easily oh, so we were just careful during installation not to bend or pull too tightly on the lights. The connections are very durable and the remote work well. My only complaint is it does not remember the last light setting you used when you turn it on. It always starts over at mode number one.
