How many watts are plug charged Christmas lights?

6 Watts. The plug in christmas lights powered by 29V low voltage plug are safe to touch.

How long are the (icicle lights) drops? 

There are three different drop lengths, 30cm/0.98ft, 50cm/1.64ft and 70cm/2.3ft.

Can you dim the light?

It depends on the type of your lights, Ollny Christmas lights with remote control which has "+" and "-" button can adjust 4 brightness levels: 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%. But Ollny led string lights without remote control or the remote control without "+" and "-" button cannot dim the light.

What are the dimension and thickness of the 1000 led 330ft Christmas light wire?

The wire is thin but durable. Its dimension is about 3mm wide, and less than 1mm thickness. So the whole set is light weight.

What is the distance between each light?

For Christmas String Lights, the distance between each light is 10cm/3.93in.

What is the size of the beads of the IP67 waterproof Christmas string lights?

It's about 0.47 x 0.16 inches. These lights adopt an larger light-emitting chip design, which is bright and energy-saving.

Can warm white/multicolor string lights do all one color? Like all red or all orange?

If I buy 2 sets can they be controlled with 1 remote or do I need to use two remotes?

Yes, a simple way is to see if the two string lights have the same twinkle modes, for example, two 8-mode string lights can use a remote control. Please make sure you point the remote at the control box to work.

Do these lights have to twinkle or can they stay on all the time?

You can choose to let them twinkle or keey stay on. Simply adjust by remote or the button on control box to keep them stay on.

If 1 light goes out, do all go out?

No, if 1 light goes out, the rest will still work.

What lights do you recommend for indoor/outdoor decoration?

Would you recommend these IP67 waterproof outdoor lights for house trim?

Yes, you could put them up on a tree, fence, and your porch or anywhere. They are easy to work with. The line is sturdy and waterproof no matter how heavy rain and snow it is outside.

Can Ollny string lights be adhered to ceilings? If so, the best way to mount them on ceiling?

As far as we can suggest, please start from the hook closest to your outlet. Run the string lights across your ceiling to the other side across the length of your ceiling. When you reach a hook, pull the Ollny lights tight and coil the string once around the hook. Continue working in a zig-zag pattern until you've

covered your entire ceiling.

Are they bright enough to help illuminate a dark backyard or only suited for decorating?

Ollny patio lights which feature 45LM, 15,000 hours long lifespan, and IP45 waterproof, are bright enough to light up your backyard and safe to use at outdoor.  

Would they be sufficient lighting for a dinner/dancing outside?

Yes, our lights are used widely such as party or events. Ollny provide different shapes and lengths to meet different needs. Please check "Party Lights" for more info.

For usb vs plug-in, which type do you suggest when using for a power source?

They're both nice choices and both can be used indoors and outdoors. Just a kind reminder, USB port is not waterproof so please use it in a dry place.

What color is the wire of Ollny lights?

Ollny provides clear cable and green cable generally. Clear cable matches indoor decoration better while green cable will be more suitable for outdoor decoration. And it also has something to do with personal preferences.

Do the cool white lights look blue?

No, there is no blue in Ollny's cool white lights.

Do these lights smell bad?

No. Ollny lights are made of environmentally friendly material so they don't have any terrible smell.

How much distance is there between the adapter and the start of the lights?

Typically 9.8 feet. The icicle lights and net lights are longer at 16.4 feet. And it's shown clearly on our page and you could get it yourself on our website.

How large of an area do the net lights cover?

How many of Ollny lights would you recommend to decorate a tree?

It depends on how tall your tree is. If you are not sure how many string lights to use, you can refer to this blog: How Many Feet of Christmas Lights for a Tree. Or please feel free to contact our customer service for timely and professional assistance.

How to hang them around the house or eaves?

Can I join two sets of Ollny lights together and have them synchronized? 

It depends on the specific model. Here is the collection of all of our connectable lights. You can also find the specifc info at every product page.

Could I cut this lights and throw the part don't need?

Sorry you can't cut it because it will affect other part of the lights. We suggest you to measure the length you need and choose the right length of lights.

Can I make my own colors or customize the color through the APP?

Ollny 265LED RGB Christmas Tree Lights are able to customize the color through the APP.

Do I have to use the remote or can I manually turn them on and off?

Yes, the adapter connected to the lights could help you to turn the lights on and off besides the remote.

Can the lights save the last lighting mode for next time use?

For USB string lights, they don't have memory function. But for plug-in string lights, no matter you directly unplug the light or press the button on the remote control to off the lights, it will remember the last lighting mode for next use.

The lights randomly change colors

The lights didn't work./Lights are very dim.

We're so sorry that you are having trouble with your lights. We can definitely help.

It would be helpful to include a photograph/video of the product, and a close up photograph of the product label attached confirming the batch number for our records. And send all details to our support team support@ollny.com. They will get back to you asap.

What happens if one bulb goes bad? Are they removeable?

It's better not to remove the bad one because they are connected together. If you remove the bad one, the others won't work. Please keep calm with their working.

Can the adapter control box be purchased separately?

Sorry, it cannot be purchased separately for the time being. If there is any problem with the controller and within the 12-month warranty, please feel free to contact our support team to replace it.

Wire/USB port broken

We're so sorry for that. Please contact our customer service for replacement, and they will be back to you in a business day.

What do the IP ratings mean?

Some Ollny outdoor lights have IP44, IP65, and IP67 ratings.

The IP44 rating means they are protected from tools and small wires larger than 1 mm, and they are also protected from water sprayed in all directions.

The IP65 rating indicates protection from total dust ingress and resistance to low-pressure water jets from any direction.

The IP67 rating signifies protection from total dust ingress and the ability to withstand immersion in water between 15 centimeters and 1 meter in depth.

Please note that all indoor use lights are typically rated IP20. Therefore, please reviewing each product description to confirm the specific IP rating.

Can I put your IP44 string lights in the water for a long time?

IP44 LED lights are resistant to dust and moisture to a limited extent. You can use them in the bathroom or outdoors. But it doesn't mean it's waterproof. So putting lights in the water for a long time is not suggested.

Is the control box waterproof?

The lights are waterproof but the little white control module is NOT waterproof. So please keep it away from water or rain.

Will the light set get hot when it is running?

Please rest assured that Ollny Led decor lights are with low voltage(29V) and low wattage(6W). So it will not be hot when it turns on and it is safe to touch it.

Is it safe to touch?

All the Ollny LED decor lights we sell are designed and manufactured to comply with US regulations. These lights are equipped with an adapter that functions as a transformer, converting the voltage from 110V to a safe and low 29V. Therefore, you can rest assured that Ollny LED decor lights are safe to touch.

However, it is important to note that some of the Ollny patio lights we offer operate at a voltage of 110(120)V. These lights carry a potential risk of electric shock if touched. Therefore, we strongly advise you to carefully read the product specifications and avoid touching high-voltage string lights.

Will they work under heavy rain and storm?

Most of our string Lights is IP44/IP67 waterproof rate, adequately waterproofed and also able to withstand bad weather. Perfectly for outdoor decorations. No fear of heavy rain or snow. But the UL plug is not waterproof, so please keep it away from rain.

It is working in 110 volts outlet?

Yes. The lights from Ollny's US store can be used in a 110-volt outlet. 

If you notice that the voltage is mentioned as 29V in the product description, there's no need for concern. Our plug includes a built-in voltage converter that effortlessly transforms the high 110V voltage to a low 29V voltage for power supply.

What is the best way to store these lights?

Can I return the item?

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

KIND NOTICE: Please plug each set of lights in to make sure all the bulbs are working before you decorate.

Do you provide special discount for large orders?

Can I cancel/amend the order?

Yes, you are able to cancel/amend the order before shipping. Please contact our support team at support@ollny.com for help. But sorry you can't cancel/amend the order after shipping.

My order is a gift. Are prices included?

We make sure that all our parcels only include a delivery note that will not show any prices.

What shipping do you use for orders on ollny.com and how long will the shipping take?

We mainly adopt Standard Shipping(2-7 business days) and Expedited Shipping(2-4 business days), but the actual shipping time depends on your address. If it is during the peak sales season, the shipping time may be longer. You can check the latest shipping time in  "Shipping & Delivery"

What should I do if the parcel got lost halfway?

We strive to guarantee every parcel is delivered to the right address but accident can't be avoided occasionally. If your parcel is lost halfway, please feel free to contact us through "Returns and Refunds" or write to support@ollny.com. We'll solve the problem for you asap.

Why I can't get the lights to my country?

For orders on ollny.com, we can only ship to US. For orders on ollny.co.uk, we can only ship to UK. If you're from european countries, please direct to amazon to place the order.

Are they made in China?

Yes. We source the majority of our products from China, and hold ourselves to extremely high standards when it comes to product quality. Every single product undergoes rigorous testing at various points before, during and after production to help ensure this, and we do not accept any product that does not meet with our strict criteria.

I haven't received my confirmation email.

Ollny provides 30-day return policy and one-year warranty for any purchase on our website.

Can I return the item?

What should I do if I receive a wrong item?

We strive to deliver the right item to you but we can't guarantee 100%. If you received a wrong item, please feel free to contact us through "Returns and Refunds". We'll solve the problem for you asap.

Have you received my return?

All goods will be inspected on return and we aim to process your return within 10 working days, following receipt of your parcel. At peak times, please allow a maximum of 14 working days for your return to be fully processed.

Once we have checked your returned parcel we will issue your refund. It may take up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account. For that additional peace of mind we do send you an e-mail as soon as we action your refund.

If more than 14 days has passed since you returned your order and you have not heard from us please contact our Customer Experience team who will be really happy to help.

Is the return at my cost?

Customers are responsible for shipping costs to return non-defective products. The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse and we recommend you use a tracked service that offers proof of postage.

If your product is faulty or damaged, please contact us first by submitting "Returns and Refunds" form. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

My remote doesn't work. Can you help please?

Please point the remote within 16.4ft of the control box to work and before using the remote, remove the protective clear film that covers the battery. If still not working, please send a message to support@ollny.com.

Is the remote rechargeable?

No, the remote control is not rechargeable. It operates with a small disk battery.

Is it possible to order a replacement remote?

Yes, you could find them on our "Remote Controls" page on our website. Before buy a remote, please check the corresponding lights' product page to determine which remote is compatible with your lights. You are highly recommeded asking our customer service for help if you are not sure.

After setting the timer, will the timer function automatically start working?

Yes. The timer will continue to work until you cancel the timer setting. To cancel the timer function, simply press the 'TIME(R) OFF' button.

I already have a timer so that all my lights go on and off at the same time. Can i bypass this ollny light timer so i can use my timer?

We suggest that you use our built-in timer. Our built-in timer needs to be turned on via the "timer" button on the remote control. If you do not press it, the built-in timer won't work.

How do you set the timer if there are no 6h or 8h buttons?

Yes, please press "TIMER" button on remote to set the timer, the lights will work on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours. Press "TIMER" again will cancel the timer setting. If you have other questions please read our blog: How to Set Timer on Ollny Fairy Lights to learn more.

How do you set the timer function without a remote?

If your string lights are equipped with a controller, short press the controller button to adjust the lighting modes, long press the button of the controller to adjust the timer. If you want to learn more, please read our blog: How to Set Timer on Ollny Fairy Lights.

How does the timer work?

For example, most string lights have 3 timing functions:

6hrs On / 18hrs Off

8hrs On / 16hrs Off

6hrs On / 6hrs Off / 3hrs On / 9hrs Off

The timing function is that when you press the "6H", "8H" and "6639" keys on the remote control, the light on the control box will light up, indicating that it is working regularly.

If you want to turn the timer off. Press the "Timer off". When the red light goes out, the timer is off.

Does the timer go on automatically?

No, the newly purchased string lights is not set with a timer mode, so it will not automatically turn on the timer mode. However, if you manually set the timer mode for the light string, the timing function will automatically turn on and off at the specified times and continue to repeat until you cancel this feature.
